The Altai Chronicles: Tablets of Light
Art

All paintings and illustrations for the book The Altai Chronicles: Tablets of Light are by the author, Carol Hiltner, painted over a two-year period from 1999 to 2001. These are the color versions of the pictures appearing in the book.

The paintings for the part openers are from the author’s visions as related to that Part. They are approximately four feet by six feet—acrylic on canvas.
The illustrations are more literal, and are about two feet by three feet; acrylic on paper.
